creation

the act of creation is the violent expulsion of existing impositions. it is where I become more free than I was. the yield, the painting, serves to maintain this freedom in public spaces. it is an apropriately ornamented reminder of a particular violent possability. but it is superior to a monument in that it is not essentially historical. it is forward looking; it biases the pattern for the impending acquisition of power. my goal as an artist is simple: to release the history of my life, and for that not to be lost down the drain.
